“Symbol” Song

www.celiaonline.com As public support grows for the Veteran Pentacle Request more people are speaking up about religious and spiritual freedom including popular singer/songwriter Celia. In this song she has captured the fallen war hero Sergeant Stewart's story in a song titled "Symbol". "Symbol" has become the Anthem of the Veteran Pentacle Quest. It is a rousing call to the VA to honor Sgt. Patrick Stewart with his emblem of belief, the Pentacle, on his memorial plaque. And, it is a powerful reminder of the need to uphold America's First Amendment Freedoms." -Rev. Selena Fox, Senior Minister of Circle Sanctuary

I was a war witch in somlia, and else where, My DD214, counts me as a Buddhist. Witch wasn’t on the form in my day.
I’ll be burred next to my wife one day, but Arlington was once offered. My right sleeve and CIb a map of the world . Iam an HP to Hekate, a witch of 30 years…bless you.. I spent most of that thirty in a closet defending a concept that I prayed would one day include me.
    Brightest blessings,
    David

you know when my mom had her last few days here on this earth…the chaplain that came to our house was a wonderful man….he agreed I had a right to choose the path that made me happy….and said he was proud of me for standing my ground…..my mom knew who and what I was…and she was proud of me..as I am of my daughter and grandaughter!

My military sons may not understand my spiritual beliefs, but are happy to serve so that I may practice my beliefs. They both told me to be unafraid to practice and to be tolerant of other practices. That is the whole point of their service: to protect our individual rights. How cool is that?!

@vampgurl33 It’s always good to have friends that accept you for who you are. My best friend does rituals with me even though she is of a “more acceptable” religion. She even helped me write part of a ritual. Its better to be hated for who you are then for who are not.

@ScarletMeadows Im in the exact place you are.. But the only thing to do is stay strong and stick to your beliefs untl your of age. Then they cant do anything to you. Just ignore it. )O( Blessed be.

  17. vampgurl33 says:

@WiccaPrincess16 I hopefully will as well.. I just hope that everything goes over well given that my uncle is a preacher.. :/ It’ll o over interestingly given that EVERYTHING spreads like wildfire. So, im just holding my head up and waiting on the inevitable rain. Luckily, my Bf is supportive even though hes different from myself in the pagan aspect. Im just glad there are others who are supportive even if i dont know them. )O( Blessed be. :)

  18. WiccaPrincess16 says:

@vampgurl33 Most of my family doesn’t know about me either, however, that will change at my open house at graduation. I will no longer hide my faith from them and if they can’t accept me then that is their problem. I have been told that it was “just a phase” for 8 years and now I am a High Priestess as mentioned in a previous post. I may be the only wiccan in my family but I will never let them tell me it is a phase ever again. Believe in yourself, the path you have chosen, and never give up!

  19. WiccaPrincess16 says:

@RapidPlague I am an 17 year old senior and I was so afraid to wear my pentacle to school, however, I started to notice that many christians and catholics were allowed to wear their crucifixes. I now wear my necklace everyday and hold my head high. It is better to be hated for who you are than for who you aren’t. I am a very young High Priestess and I am showing that on Friday at the school. Im drawing our symbol on my forehead and wearing it proudly no matter what! Blessed Be!!

  20. vampgurl33 says:

My family doesnt know about me either.. I refuse to take off my pentacle for anything though! ~ )O( I came home crying before because the christians at my school have been very rude to me.. But i know the Goddess has my back when it all get downs to it. Bless the Goddess as she Blesses us with her prescence. :) My kids will be brought up with Paganism. :) )) )O(

  21. wolfmother8719 says:

  22. ScarletMeadows says:
